When we went to pick up Rumour at the Airport in March 2008 she nearly didn’t come home with us as the shipping attendant had fallen in love with her and wanted her all to himself. With a face like hers who could blame him.
Rumour is full of spunk and personality. She is always right next to you out in the yard. She always wants to give cuddles and much to Daddy’s dismay has to be in his lap when she comes in for TV time.
Rumour is a show off and even though she has only had a very short time in the show ring due to my pregnancy she has shown great promise. April 2008 was the Bullmastiff Club of Victoria’s (BCV) Championship show and Open show. She was the youngest entry on the day. Each show had a class entry of 8 - she placed 4th in the championship show and placed 3rd in the Open show. Both of these shows were under breed specialists.
In August 2008 while still in the Minor puppy class she was awarded Reserve Challenge at one of the BCV’s nominated Pointscore shows this was a remarkable achievement being her second show where she could compete for Championship points. She then went on to place 2nd in the Puppy Bitch Class at the Royal Melbourne Show, once again being the youngest entrant in that class.
